The blue crab is the state crustacean of Maryland. Steamed and seasoned as only Marylander's know how, it is a delicacy known throughout the world. This is the signature cuisine of Baltimore and it is a 'must-try' meal for tourists.

Coddies

Codfish cakes are sometimes called the poor man's crab cake. Much less expensive than crabcakes, Coddies are a popluar lunch treat or light meal. Most deli's have them pre-made and ready to heat and eat.

Mary Sue Easter Eggs

known as America's best Easter Egg, Mary Sue has been making candoes and chocolates in Baltimore since 1948.

Pompeian Olive Oil

founded in Baltimore in 1906 they produced America's first national brand of imported extra virgin olive oil

Berger Cookies

A soft cookie topped with a decadent amount of soft chocolate fudge. Made in Baltimore since 1835, an open pack of Berger's never lasts long.

McCormick Spice

There was a time when Baltimore's inner harbour smelled of nutmeg and paprika. McCormick had a plant there and the scent from their operations made for a unique experience when visiting the then newly renovated tourist attraction.

Goetze's

It began as the Baltimore Chewing Gum Company, but developed into a caramel company in the early 1900's. Since the 1940's, the company's staple product has been Caramel Creams®
