Welcome to Baltimore Hon!

Picture
As someone who has lived and worked in Baltimore for over 50 years, I hope to share what makes Baltimore unique and what puts the Charm in Charm City.

That Charm comes from people and events spanning the history of the City, County and State such as; Its beginnings as an early English colony, its role in the War of 1812, becoming a major seaport, a State divided during the Civil War, the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904 and it's much lauded renovation of the Inner Harbor.

And it's charm is evident in its idiosyncrasies like Marble Stairs and Painted Screens, Plastic Pink Flamingoes and the ubiquitous greeting "Hey Hon!"

So come for a visit, stay awhile, maybe be seduced by the charm and stay forever. You wouldn't be the first.
